Work Location: Guangzhou
Leverage data to isolate opportunities for us to optimize critical growth flows and user paths;
Pair that deep data driven understanding with surveys, focus groups or whatever qualitative tools are most useful to understand those opportunities;
Drive projects that that will directly increase conversion rates and overall WeChat growth/engagement;
Work both on the core WeChat product as well as on marketing channels like SEO, SEM, and email;
Use tools like Hadoop/Hive, Python, Excel, and other internal tools to work efficiently at scale.
Bachelor degree or above; 3-5 years' working experience;
BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Stats, or equivalent experience;
Strong SQL or scripting skills with the ability to learn both;
Ability to process and analyze complex data sets, and interpret them to make business decisions;
Exceptional communication and presentation skills;
Great organization skills and attention to detail;
Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable mobile and/or media products;
Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces-ability to create examples through wire frames and mock ups;
Experience developing social products, technologies and platforms is strongly desired;
Strong English communication ability required;
Mandarin or Cantonese language ability helpful but not required.
